SVU" actress Mariska Hargitay discussed "My Mom Jayne" on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert." The film is a documentary about her mother, late Hollywood star Jayne Mansfield.

In the film, Mariska learns from her siblings that she was briefly left behind at the scene of the car crash that killed their mother Jayne Mansfield in 1967. Mariska has been supported by her husband, Peter Hermann, and their three children throughout the press tour for the film.

"I'm in a profound moment of gratitude for my family," Hargitay said at the Tribeca Festival premiere for the documentary she made about late mom Jayne Mansfield.
