Microsoft is bringing OpenAI’s o1 reasoning model to all Copilot users this week. You won’t need to subscribe to a $20 monthly Copilot Pro or ChatGPT Plus plan to get it either, as Microsoft is making it free for all users of Copilot.

Initial reports suggested that access to the o1 reasoning model in Copilot was unlimited, but this has proved to be false, with several users coming up against usage limits. In response Microsoft then upped the usage limit, with the Copilot account on X yesterday announcing: “Think Deeper limits for free and Pro subscribers have been expanded!”

Thanks to OpenAI's o1, Microsoft Copilot is now capable of solving complex tasks, and provide users with well researched insights.
