Gov. Tim Walz has activated the Minnesota National Guard to assist St. Paul in responding to a cyberattack on the capital city on Tuesday.

In response to a cyberattack, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz issued an emergency executive order bringing National Guard soldiers to active duty.

According to the Minnesota National Guard’s website, the North Star State is one of the few states in the country to have a Cyber Protection Team.
