A couple of weather systems were expected to carry on with the series of storms that began rolling across metro Phoenix on Tuesday last week.

Weather in metro Phoenix this week will start off warm, but many on spring break should prepare for possible rain with two separate storm systems expected to move into the Valley.

Rain has arrived in the Valley and it's expected to stay a while. Forecasters say the storm has started Tuesday night, but it will intensify through Thursday and likely Friday.

The first storm system was expected to hit the Valley on March 11, 2025, bringing an initial round of widespread rain showers.
