Prince William said he found it extremely difficult to focus on school and normal life as he opened up about his childhood grief. The Prince of Wales, 42, this week paid a visit to Child Bereavement UK — a children’s bereavement charity in Widnes, England, of which he is a patron.

The Prince of Wales has opened up about his “most painful experience” on a visit to a bereavement charity close to Princess Diana’s heart. Prince William, 42, spoke to teenagers in Widnes, Cheshire, on Wednesday to see the work done by Child Bereavement UK, of which he has been a patron since 2009.

As well as Prince William often being compared to his mother, the prince’s children are also said to take after Diana in some ways. Over the years, fans have been quick to comment on how William’s daughter Princess Charlotte, nine, looks like her late grandmother.
