New details in the arrest of Cleveland Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins accuse the NFL player of allegedly striking his partner following an argument at an airport.
For Cleveland, it’s the second offseason in a row where a rookie has found legal issues. Last season, Ohio State defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. was arrested on the same charges as Judkins, and eventually served a five-game suspension.

Judkins’s presence at Browns camp isn’t relevant until he’s under contract. If his holdout lingers into late July and August, there’s no reason for the NFL to do anything. Then, if/when he signs the deal, they can activate the paid-leave provision of the Personal Conduct Policy.
I don’t know exactly what happened between Quinshon Judkins and the woman who has filed charges against him. The Browns running back was charged with domestic battery. As cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot reported,
