Tom Aspinall has warned Cyril Gane that he will face an "improved version" of the Briton when they fight for the heavyweight title at UFC 321 in October. Aspinall will make his first defence of the belt against the Frenchman - in Abu Dhabi on October 25 - after being upgraded to undisputed champion following Jon Jones' retirement last month.

Aspinall last fought at UFC 304, knocking out Curtis Blaydes to defend the interim title after having won it at UFC 295 in November 2023, when Jones was recovering from a torn pectoral muscle injury after a sparring session went awry.
