Shedeur Sanders had all sorts of support as he slid during the NFL Draft to the No. 144 overall selection in the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns. One of those supporters? President Donald Trump. POTUS wrote on social media during the draft that Sanders has "phenomenal genes" and is "destined for greatness.

Cleveland added Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel at 94th overall, making Sanders the fifth quarterback on the roster, which also includes Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco and Deshaun Watson. Sanders took second in quarterback reps behind Gabriel on Friday, although Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski downplayed its significance.
