Mumbai is set to witness another historic moment in the world of fashion as Vivienne Westwood prepares to host its first-ever runway show in India. Following Dior’s grand showcase at the Gateway of India in 2023, the legendary British fashion house will take centre stage at the same monumental venue on April 1, 2025.

The last standalone Westwood menswear show was under the MAN label and happened back in June 2016, before it merged with the old Red womenswear label and moved to London: thus VW menswear has been all-lookbook/video/whatever since 2019. As Kronthaler observed, “we don’t show it enough.”
