Kurt Kitayama has his second PGA Tour victory. He won the 3M Open in Minnesota on Sunday, closing with a 65 for a total of 23-under 261 to beat Sam Stevens by one stroke.

Ten-year pro Kurt Kitayama needed all 65 shots Sunday to win the 3M Open in Blaine by a single shot, but it might have been one over all the others that won him his second PGA Tour title and enabled his mother to watch the TV again.

Kitayama opened with a 65 but barely made the cut after shooting even-par 71 on Friday when he lacked control of his ball flight. He rushed to the range, hit some balls and talked to his coach, Chris Como. “Felt like I found something that I could go with,” he said.
