LAKE LOUISE - Parks Canada says there was nothing foreseeable or preventable about the rockfall that killed two hikers and injured three more in Banff National Park. Updated June 20, 2025 at 8:05 p.m.
Note: On Thursday, June 19, 2025, a rock slide occurred near Bow Glacier Falls in Banff National Park. As of Friday, two hikers had been reported dead, while others were believed to be injured.
