Butte High School named royalty during the April 16 junior/senior prom at Front Street Station. The prom preceded spring break.

School board general elections in Illinois are held on the first Tuesday in April every two years in odd-numbered years for all districts except for Chicago Public Schools and Peoria Public Schools.

Dash Wilson, a junior at Andrew High School in Tinley Park, earned first place in the 2025 Illinois Young Composer contest.
