Sources say a man was critically injured when Chicago police fired shots outside a hotel in River North Monday afternoon.

Police have not said what he was wanted for. Officers ran after the man and chased him into the lobby of the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel on East Hubbard St., according to investigators.
