Seven Texas Longhorns heard their name called on Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft. Much of the attention was centered around quarterback Quinn Ewers' draft slide to the seventh round, but one of the most exciting picks of the day came when the Dallas Cowboys selected Texas running back Jaydon Blue with the No. 149 overall pick.

Texas Longhorns running back Jaydon Blue is headed to the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas selected Blue with the 149th pick in the 2025 NFL draft. He’s the second offensive player taken by Dallas this year, joining first-round lineman Tyler Booker.

The Dallas Cowboys concluded the 2025 NFL Draft with six selections on Saturday, bringing their total to nine players chosen over the three-day event.
