A rash of late-night tornados on Saturday has residents in North Texas surveying damage on Easter morning. Nine tornadoes were reported on Saturday night, according to WFAA Dallas. Several of these tornadoes were confirmed to have touched down near communities west of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

JACKSBORO, Texas — Severe storms and tornadoes damaged buildings across multiple North Texas counties Saturday evening. Homes lost their roofs and trees were upturned by storms near Weatherford and Millsap, Texas, overnight. Officials confirmed that several tornadoes touched down in North Texas.

At least one person was killed in Oklahoma Saturday night as several tornadoes moved across the southern tier of the state. A tornado in Hughes County injured one person and killed another. Photos are from the Hughes County Emergency Manager of a manufactured home that was destroyed.
