Jeanie Buss recently revealed the factors behind the Los Angeles Lakers' massive Luka Doncic trade, including the influence of the Denver Nuggets.

The Los Angeles Lakers had plenty of reasons to jump at the opportunity to acquire Luka Doncic from the Dallas Mavericks when the chance was offered to them. Owner Jeanie Buss, however, revealed that there was one big and surprising motivation behind the deal from the Lakers’ point of view.

It's not that the Los Angeles Lakers were having a bad season before, but the trade that sent big man Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for superstar Luka Doncic definitely shook things up (in a good way).
