Early risers were treated to a rare planetary alignment on Friday as the Moon, Venus, and Saturn formed a celestial "sad face" in the eastern sky.

Before sunrise on April 25, a slender waning crescent moon will appear left of Venus and Saturn to create the tilted happy face.
