In his 56th at-bat in his new home, the slugger launched one over the left-field fence for his first Citi Field home run as a Met. It went 391 feet to left-center field. Then, in his next at-bat, he hit another one, 399 feet.

If anything, Soto’s presence adds a new wrinkle in a rivalry that has lost its luster over the last five years.
