The self-proclaimed 'King of Benidorm' has thrown his weight behind Spain's reported plans for a 'three-year tourist ban' amid concerns that he, and others, may be priced out of their homes.

King Felipe has reigned in Spain since 2014, when his father, King Juan Carlos I, abdicated. Spain's monarchy was restored after the death of military dictator Francisco Franco in 1975.
