Private sector Kotak Mahindra Bank has got a big relief. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has lifted the restrictions imposed on the bank on February 12. Kotak Mahindra Bank can now issue credit cards to new customers.

The bank was directed to cease and desist from onboarding new customers through its online and mobile banking channels, and issuing fresh credit cards.
