Los Angeles Angels right fielder Mike Trout offered an update on the knee injury that landed him on the 10-day injured list. Trout sustained the injury in Wednesday's game against the Seattle Mariners.

Trout says he is confident that this injury won’t be as severe as previous injuries because he’s already feeling better and there’s no structural damage in his knee.

Mike Trout had been off to unusually healthy start to the season. The Angels superstar had started each of L.A.'s first 29 games. But on Wednesday, Trout hurt his knee running through first base. He sat out Thursday, and after the game, manager Ron Washington delivered the bad news.
