The Winnipeg Jets were able to hold off the Dallas Stars in Game 2, evening up the best-of-seven playoff series. Winnipeg showed why they were the best team in the NHL all season long, shutting out the explosive Dallas offense.

NHL playoff action continued on Wednesday with a pair of second-round matchups. The Toronto Maple Leafs took down the Florida Panthers 4-3 to take a 2-0 series lead. The Dallas Stars escaped with a 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets later on the road.

The Oilers have had to mount comebacks in both games, but they’ve outscored the Knights, 8-3, at 5-on-5, and they’ve created more expected goals, high-danger scoring chances and shots on goal at full strength.

The Vegas Golden Knights visit the Edmonton Oilers in Game 3 of their best-of-7, second-round series of the Stanley Cup Playoffs Saturday.
