The new Pokemon TCG Pocket Space-Time Smackdown expansion set has been announced with a release date less than a week away. There'll be dozens of new cards for players to collect, two new booster packs to pick from, new legendaries based on those from the Sinnoh region, and more besides.

Space-Time Smackdown is the second main set in Pokémon TCG Pocket, following on from Genetic Apex and the Mythical Island mini set. The meta is shifting with the addition of over 100 new Pokémon to the game, along with new Trainer and Supporter cards.

The Pokémon Company said the cards inside the booster packs have “new and unique” illustrations — and will feature Pokémon showing up in Pokémon TCG Pocket for the first
