The 78th Tony Awards, presented by the Broadway League and the American Theater Wing, are planned for June 8 at Radio City Music Hall. The ceremony’s host will be Cynthia Erivo, a 2016 Tony winner for her role as Celie in “The Color Purple,” who is fresh off a whirlwind year of “ Wicked ” press tours and an Oscar nomination.

The nominations, which were announced by Tony Award winners Sarah Paulson and Wendell Pierce, also included a slew of Hollywood stars. George Clooney, Sarah Snook, Sadie Sink and Bob Odenkirk were all nominated.
