The Central Florida Expressway Authority is nearing a key step for its Sanford Airport Connector project on State Road 417.

Phase two of Eppley Airfield's terminal split kicked off Monday. The central portion of the terminal will close temporarily. Eppley will now operate with two separate terminals, north and south.
