Eells had been wanting to get Silverton to Nebraska — especially when he found out sous chef Liz Hong is a native of the state — and Lighthouse’s 35th anniversary seemed like the time to do it.

While Hilton said he was confident in his abilities and those of his sous chef Joni Manes, who also works at the Cunningham Group's corporate level, he never really relaxed throughout the competition.
