Alexander Mogilny’s long wait for the Hockey Hall of Fame is over, as the high-scoring Russian winger was selected as part of the eight-member class of 2025.

In 17th year of eligibility, groundbreaking Russian forward part of Class of 2025 TORONTO -- Alexander Mogilny was in a deep sleep when the phone rang in the middle of the Russian night. It was a call almost two decades in the making.

Alexander Mogilny, who finished his NHL career with more than 1,000 points, was elected to the Hall of Fame. He played on the 2005-06 Albany River Rats.
