Reddit co-founder and investor Alexis Ohanian has joined billionaire Frank McCourt’s bid to acquire TikTok as a strategic adviser specializing in social media, Reuters reports.

According to a report from Reuters, Olympique de Marseille owner Frank McCourt has announced that he is teaming up with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in a bid to acquire TikTok’s US operations.

According to Reuters, venture capitalist Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, is joining businessman Frank McCourt in his bid to buy TikTok in the U.S. "He has that broad portfolio of experience … of where social media was and, I think, a keen understanding of where it’s evolving," McCourt told Reuters.
