Pritchard averaged 14.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game — all career highs — while shooting 40.7 percent from the 3-point line.

As revealed in a release by the NBA, Pritchard secured 82 first-place votes. The next-closest vote-getter was Detroit Pistons veteran Malik Beasley, who had just 13 first-place votes while no other player received over two.
