The team announced on social media that they have signed veteran fullback Andrew Beck to a “Reserve/Future contract.” NFL Insider Aaron Wilson confirmed that Beck’s deal is a “one-year contract.”

Darren Mougey’s football journey is quite a story. He played quarterback in high school and then attended San Diego State. After two years at the college level as a QB, Mougey converted to wide receiver. He went on to catch 66 passes for 805 yards and six touchdowns in his final two seasons with the Aztecs.

Mougey, 39, is the third-youngest GM in the NFL and joins the Jets after serving as the Broncos assistant GM since 2022. He has been with the Broncos since 2012, rising from scouting intern to assistant GM.
