The Mann Act, previously called the White-Slave Traffic Act of 1910, essentially made it illegal to transport people across state lines for prostitution or any other “immoral” purpose, PBS reported.

Combs, 55, was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted of the most serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
