A Modesto resident has died after a crash along Highway 132 in rural east Stanislaus County on Monday, authorities said.

The 29-year-old died Monday after being ejected from a pickup in a rollover crash along Highway 132, authorities said.

About a fifth of the funding is in hand to extend the Highway 132 bypass that opened in Modesto in late 2022. The initial project is a two-lane expressway from Highway 99 to Dakota Avenue.
