Added via trade from Colorado, the two new CBJ forwards expect to add veteran leadership to a rising Blue Jackets team

The Avalanche traded forwards Charlie Coyle and Miles Wood to the Blue Jackets on Friday in return for picks and a prospect, freeing up much-needed salary cap space hours before the NHL draft.

This is an unbelievably good move for the Avalanche, who cleared $7.75 million in cap space and could be unexpected players in free agency.
