Police in Kenya have clashed with demonstrators during the latest anti-government protests, and the state-funded human rights commission says 10 people have been killed.

Police fired tear gas and used a water cannon in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, on Monday to disperse protesters on the street.

Police say at least 11 people were killed - as a doctor tells the BBC protesters taken to hospital died of gunshot wounds.
