A U.S. tourist who was visiting Puerto Rico for Bad Bunny's residency was fatally shot early Sunday at La Perla, police said.

The actor previously gushed about his budding bromance with the Grammy Award winner during an appearance on TODAY.

As of 5:00 p.m. AST on Sunday, Erin’s center was positioned approximately 275 miles northwest of San Juan, Puerto Rico, tracking west-northwest at 13 mph. Although no longer directly affecting the area, the storm’s outer bands are still delivering heavy rainfall, dangerous marine conditions, and life-threatening surf along coastal areas.

Authorities in Puerto Rico say a 37-year-old man has turned himself into police and was charged in the recent killing of a tourist from the U.S. mainland who had flown to the island for Bad Bunny’s residency.

A wake was held Saturday for 25-year-old Kevin Mares, a Queens man who was killed while on vacation in Puerto Rico last weekend.
