Here is a bullet list of things I have noticed/done: The mute light within the button on the front of the microphone is illuminated solid red. Upon pressing the button, it will not blink.

Nov 16, 2024 · I'm experiencing the same issues with Windows 11 detecting my Blue Yeti mic, but programs such as Zoom, Discord, etc cannot detect sound. Windows setting's Microphone test is unable to detect anything either. I am on a Gigabyte 2024 laptop.

May 19, 2015 · I'm not sure how to explain it. When recording with my Blue Yeti in any recording program (I primarily use Audition CC), there is this very high pitched and very annoying white noise, it's very obvious in the audio file I'll link below. Although you might have to turn up your volume in order to hear it. (The fan isn't what I mean).

Nov 22, 2021 · You can use a blue yeti for party chat, but you do have to have a y splitter that connects a headset to one side, and a 3.5mm aux cable from the splitter to the yeti. I have mine set up this way. I have mine powered through my pc and play on a monitor.
