Rainbow Village showed me that I was capable of rebuilding my life. I have learned what family truly means. I’ve learned how to reach out, get help, and help those in need around me.

Rainbow Village, Inc. (Rainbow Village or the Organization) is a not-for-profit corporation who provides families in domestic and/or economic crisis a healing environment to rebuild their lives through a community based transitional housing program that promotes self-sufficiency.

Through its partnership with Catholic Charities, Rainbow Village was able to assist six additional families with rent in the amount of $10,000 – including the two residents who had incurred medical emergencies. The highest honor of the evening – the Barbara Howard High Achiever Award – recognized Shushana, a single mom of three.

The mission of Rainbow Village is to transform the lives of families experiencing homelessness by providing help, hope, housing, and healing to instill initiative, self-development and accountability that will foster meaningful growth in the lives of all who encounter Rainbow Village.

Rainbow Village celebrated 25 years of serving homeless families with a slate of commemorative events and the completion of the five-year capital campaign. The all-inclusive village was completed. This increased the capacity to serve 30 families.

Once the new resident has been approved for enrollment, they will enter into a covenant with Rainbow Village for the duration of their stay. This covenant outlines the requirements for continued participation in the ASPIRE program.
